SIL Supplementary Module Add-On
Templates for registered and applying SIL providers, written against the supported independent living supplementary module (Module 5A). 23 editable templates covering supported decision-making, safeguarding in shared and individual living, practice governance and worker competency, tenancy and housing arrangements, co-tenant matching and consultation, visitors, keys and private space, the Module 5A service agreement schedule, and an evidence register and audit preparation checklist.
Who it is for: providers delivering supported independent living who are registered, or applying for registration, and will be assessed against Module 5A by certification. Requires the Core Library, which this module cross-references throughout.
Why now: from 1 July 2026 SIL may only be delivered by a registered provider, and providers already delivering SIL must apply for registration by 1 October 2026 or stop. Module 5A commenced on 1 July 2026. These templates give you a documented starting point; they need customising to your service and implementing in practice, and no template pack can guarantee registration or audit outcomes.
